Shenanigans operates out of Sparrow Lakes Golf Club in Welland Ontario and provides external catering for the Niagara Region while offering complete F&B services for 500+ members at the 36 hole golf club.

Owned and operated by Sean Wales, Shenanigans was established in 2006

Shenanigans operates under the philosophy that food tastes great, goes down better with a beverage of sorts and is best served in a timely fashion. If it's hot, it should get to your table hot, if it's cold, should get to your table cold. Being in the Niagara Region, Shenanigans utilizes the best the local suppliers have to offer, from produce to herbs, wines, bakeries, and desserts. When in season, the offerings from the local suppliers are out of this world, why not incorporate them where applicable on the menu.
Realizing his passion was for cooking, Sean completed his chef apprenticeship here in Niagara under the wing of Mark Hand. He then expanded his repertoire across Canada at Chateau Lake Louise, and down south in Cuba.

In 1996, Sean started his very successful catering business Skilled Men with Knives in the Niagara Region.

In 2000, opportunity came knocking again and Sean headed to Argentina as Corporate Chef/ Food & Beverage Manager to open seven restaurants in an Eco-tourism national park.

With his wife Julia, Sean settled back home in Niagara in 2001 and brought his experiences to the classroom teaching Culinary Arts at Niagara College. He later put the catering services of Brock University on the map while working as the Catering and Banquet Chef at Sodehxo.
